The information the Order books provide is of a procedural and administrative nature
rather than information relating to the nature of the cases. They demonstrate actions which must
be taken at the direction of the Court.

The organisational method of these registers is by case. Not all cases are included; the
order of entry is chronological rather than by case number, and case numbers are not noted.
These entries flesh out some of the Docket book entries; on the other hand, some Order
book entries are not in the Dockets for given cases.
