Allard, T. J. (Thomas James), 1914-1982 : Thomas James Allard (1914-1982) was closely associated with public and private aspects of broadcasting in Canada. He was a Director General of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) and served as CAB Executive Vice-President from 1953 to 1973. T.J. Allard was hired by the CRTC from October 1978 to December 1978 on a contract stipulating that he was to collate, file and index material pertinent to the history of broadcasting in Canada.
