Sub-sub-series consists of a card index that catalogues the names of individuals who purchased or leased land in the Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territory. They are arranged alphabetically by the name of the person or company and include the lease number and territory in which the property is located. Other information which may be found on the cards includes: type of lease, transfers or assignments, cross reference to file numbers, date payment was due, and date of cancellation notification. The index consists of four divisions: cancelled leases and agreements of sale for land in the Yukon and Northwest Territories. "A" - "Z"; unsorted cancelled leases and agreements of sale for lands in the Yukon and Northwest Territories. "A" - "Z"; current and active leases and agreements of sale for lands in the Northwest Territories. "A" - "Z"; current and active leases and agreements of sale for lands in the Yukon Territory. "A" - "Z".
