Canada. Atomic Energy Control Board. Advisory Mining Committee on Radio-Active Minerals : The Advisory Mining Committee on Radio-Active Minerals was established in 1948 under the direction of the Rt. Hon. C.D. Howe, Minister of Reconstruction and Supply. G.C. Bateman, a mining consultant from Montreal and member of the AECB, served as Chair, and G.M. Jarvis, Secretary and Legal Advisor to the Board, served as Secretary. The committee examined the production of uranium ores by private companies, helped decide on prices for uranium and monitored international developments. Mentioning of the committee stopped with the 1950-51 Annual Report. RG60 General Inventory
