Series consists of two Institution and Agriculture Statistics Branch administrative files containing correspondence and several agreements, 1981-1983 (file IAS-1030-1) and annual reports, 1982-1983 (IAS-1445-2). Institutions and Agriculture Statistics Field : The Institutions and Agriculture Statistics Field collected and published information on agriculture, education, science, culture, health, justice, public finance, and social security. It merged with the Census and Household Surveys Field to form the Social Statistics Field in October 1979. RG 31 General Inventory; Statistics Canada Annual Reports; David A Worton, The Dominion Bureau of Statistics: A history of Canada's Central Statistics Office and its antecedents, 1841-1972"; "Organization of the Government of Canada".
