Montreal Warehousing Company : The Montreal Warehousing Company was incorporated in March 1865 (28 Vic., Cap. 48) to erect and operate various types of storage facilities. The Grand Trunk (later Canadian National) obtained control under an agreement signed 21 May 1890. In addition to the property already owned and operated, the Montreal Warehousing Company acquired the property of the Terminal Warehousing Company Limited.

Various warehouses, elevators, etc. have been owned by the Montreal Warehousing Company. Those remaining on 31 December 1960 were at Montreal and at North Bay, Ontario. RG30 General Inventory
