Sub-series consists of twenty-four scrapbooks of newspaper clippings from across Canada on the Winnipeg General Strike and the sedition trials which followed. These scrapbooks were assembled by the Clipping Bureau of the Department of Labour and kept in its Library.

The collection was microfilmed by Labour Canada in 1969. Twenty-three original scrapbooks were then transferred to the National Archives and in 1983, a missing scrapbook (the first in the series) was discovered and transferred to the Archives as well.
