Collection search - Saskatchewan Regional Office, Modified Duplex Numeric Central Registry Records and Operational Records [textual record]

This volume was previously alienated from federal custody and returned by the Saskatchewan Archives Board in 1977. The volume contains records from the following agencies; Battleford, Carlton, Crooked Lake, Duck Lake, File Hills, Moose Woods Sioux, Onion Lake, Pelly, Qu'Appelle and Touchwood.
Each agency was responsible for a number of bands according to its geographical area. The files contained in this volume include lists of registered Indians, band lists, annuity pay sheets, treaty paylists and related correspondence, treaty payments and vital statistics registration forms and correspondence.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
