1 map 39 x 51 cm.Language of material:EnglishScope and content:Series consists of unrelated miscellaneous records which were found among the body of records transferred to the Public Archives by the Department of Finance in 1936. (In the 1954 edition of the inventory of the records of the Department of Finance, they were called the C-35 series). The records include such records as land petitions from 1837, lists of persons committted to lunatic asylums in 1839, records related to wolf bounties granted between 1840 and 1863, records related to Harbour and Canal tolls (1858-1870), and an entry book related to Canadian and American custom matters (1888-1896). Also included was a map showing the street layout of the city of Buffalo and the village of Fort Erie in relation to the Buffalo and Lake Huron and Grand Trunk Railway, as well as the Erie and Niagara Railway, and the International Bridge Union Railway Line.Additional information:Source of title:Title is based on the contents of the series.Custodial history:Transferred to the National Map Collection from the Federal Archives Division, RG19 acquisition 77-78/164 on 24 Sept. 1982.Cartographic math data:Scale indeterminable.Accruals:No further accruals are expected.Source:GovernmentFormer archival reference no.:RG19-E-5-g
