Series consists of copies of bills and statutes, 1869-1873, 1877-1881, 1885-1887, 1889-1890, 1893-1897, 1939 and 1953-1954; records of bills introduced, 1919-1937; records of bills that were passed, 1916-1937; records of voting of members on bills, 1883-1888 and list of divorce bills, 1950.

Also included (Vol. 2485) are two original documents (in both official languages) of the "Canadian Bill of Rights." These are not the only originals signed by John G. Diefenbaker as he apparently signed several similar ones. These originals are only a portion of the statute entitled "An Act for the Recognition and Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms", 8-9 Elizabeth II, Chapter 44, 10 August 1960.
