Sub-series is divided into four main sub-groups. The first group contains training manuals, weapons manuals, technical manuals, strategic and operational treatises (vol. 21994-22022) : most documents are in English or German (old German script). The second group contains mostly English documents of a political nature (vol. 22023-22059) and newspapers (vol. 22059-22062). The third part contains documents in French (vol. 22063-22076), in German (vol. 22077-22079) and other languages (vol. 22080-22085). Finaly, the fourth part contains brochures produced by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission describing all Commonwealth graves over all the continents (vol. 22086-21106). These brochures also contains maps of the cemeteries and the area around them.
