Canada Post Corporation. Public Relations : In 1948 the Public Relations Division reported to the Director of the Administration Branch and was responsible for acquainting the public with services provided by the Department; soliciting the support of the public in the use of good mailing practices; and editing and distributing monthly magazines for Departmental employees. In 1952 a Public Relations Officer reported directly to the District Director and carried out in the District the public relations policy established in Ottawa. Canada Post Office: An Organizational History, 1841-1974, pp. 45.
