The sub-series contains material in the Cree language (written in Roman characters, not Cree syllabics) that relates to the conduct of church affairs. It consists of two manuscript items and photocopies of two printed items (of which the originals were transferred in 1999 to the Rare Book collection of the National Library of Canada). The manuscript items comprise: Church rules, [ca. 1850], in Cree (vol. 1, file 12) and a Bible quiz, [ca. 1850], in Cree (vol. 1, file 15). The two printed items are translations into Cree of "The Faith and Duty of a Christian (Oo Tapwatumoowin Mena oo Tipetotumoowin Ootayumehaw)" (printed for the S.P.C.K, 1855), (vol. 1, file 13), and "Watts' First Catechism (Kukwachetoowe Mussinahikun)", (printed for the Church Missionary Society, 1855), (vol. 1, file 14).
