Sub-series consists of 17 undated and largely unidentified graphic items pertaining to Archdeacon James Hunter and his family. Convenience copies of the items have been kept with the textual part of the fonds in vol. 5, files 97-100. The photographs include two commercial picture cards with envelope, showing a Sioux woman, Can-ku Was-te Win (Good-Road-Woman) and an Indian man, Cut Nose; five daguerreotypes in cases--a girl with book; a child in Scottish dress with long lace pants under his kilt; a youth (? James Hunter) with book; and two of a middle-aged man (? James Hunter); a reversible gold broach with a hand-coloured solar print portrait of a man (? James Hunter) on one side and elaborately plaited hair of a reddish brown colour on the other side; eight black and white photograph portraits--a young boy in a sailor outfit; a young girl; a middle aged man (? James Hunter); James Hunter, "The Very Viscount Archdeacon Hunter of Islington, London N," seated; and four portraits of a man (? James Hunter at various ages); and an oval photograph of a nurse cut from a postcard and marked "Nursie for Nan".
