This accession consists of textual, graphic and photographic records that were retained by Lorne Perry, the former Supervisor of CN's Visual Redesign Program and later the Manager of the Corporate Identification Program.
Subjects covered include: design and application of the new CN, CV (Central Vermont) and GT (Grand Trunk) corporate symbols, revised equipment colour schemes, visual resdesign studies for CN Ferry Terminals and CN Autobus Service Newfoundland and design and use of the CN Hotels' Red Key Symbol.
Other miscellaneous records include speakers' papers for the 1960 Rail International Design Environment (RIDE) Conference, a promotional brochure (1966) and inaugural week voided ticket for CN's Turbo train and promotional material for the 1974 CN-sponsored 6060 Steam Locomotive Excursions.
