Series consists of printed material and memorabilia relating to William J. Oliver's career. Included is an unbound scrapbook of clippings about him, along with some loose clippings containing articles and reproductions of his photographs.

The memorabilia largely relates to Oliver's travels. It includes a detailed itinerary for his trip with Michael Lerner to French Indo-China and Portuguese East Africa, prepared by Thomas Cook. Other travel records include small guides issued by Imperial Airways for places visited during the trip, such as Dar-es-Salaam, Nairobi and Khartoum, and Imperial Airways and KLM flying schedules and cards detailing travel arrangements. There are ship's passenger lists for the 1937-1938 trip, as well as for other trips (including an undated passenger list for the Empress of Ireland). There is also one mailing envelope bearing William J. Oliver's studio label and a sample of a CPR letterhead from an envelope that had been used to send photographs.

Included is some posthumous material collected by Oliver's daughters, including an inventory of his photographic equipment and miscellaneous clippings and printed material about him.
