Series consists of files on the annual Great Canadian Poetry Weekend at Blue Mountain in Collingwood, Ontario; the Cultural Olympics 1976; Festival of Life and Learning 1976; International Book Year 1972; International Exchange Tours; Annual Metro Poetry Festival; National Book Festivals; Playwrights' Tours; Poetry Symposium 1977; and Sound Poetry Tour 1978. Also contains correspondence on national festivals such as the Milton Acorn Festival and the Peterborough Poetry Festival; files on international exchanges between Canada and Britain, Germany, Hungary, Chile, China, Sweden and Yugoslavia, as well as Student Poetry Festival evaluation forms. Files contain correspondence, financial records and publicity material.

Series consists of photographs taken at the International Festival, 1981. The photographs include pictures of the following: P.K. Page, C.K. Stead, Denise Leventov, Elaine Feinstein, Edwing Morgan, Wang Sindi, Hans Ten Berge, Margaret Atwood, Gilles Hénault, Al Purdy and Patrick Lane (removed from Vol. 32, File 4).
