Series consists of scripts and other material documenting Frank Shuster's work in radio and television, largely as part of the comedy team Wayne and Shuster with Johnny Wayne.

Included are bound scripts for the RCA Victor radio show 1946-1948; the Wayne and Shuster summer radio show for the National Broadcasting Company 1947; the Wayne and Shuster for Toni radio show 1948-1952; the CBC Wayne and Shuster summer radio show 1952-1954; the Christie Brown Wayne and Shuster radio show 1953-1955; the Christie Brown Wayne and Shuster television show 1954-1956; and the CBC Wayne and Shuster shows and specials 1956-1989 (some of the later scripts were never actually bound as the earlier ones were, but were kept in envelopes by Shuster along with the bound scripts).

Also included are scripts which were found loose among Shuster's records, and which document the following: United Appeal Show n.d.; Javex Wife Preservers 1941-1942; Co-eds and Cut-ups 1941; Buckingham Cigarette Programme 1941-1942; Army Show 1942-1943; Canada Show 1944; Johnny Home Show 1945-1946 (which Wayne and Shuster wrote but did not perform in); Victory Star Show 1945; CBC Christmas Show 1945; Canadian Radio Awards Show 1951; Bond Show 1952; Mart Kenney Revue 1954; [Canadian Armed Forces Xmas Show c. 1954]; National Red Feather Show 1955; Chelsea at Nine 1957-1959; Lux Show 1958; Dinah Shore Show [1958]; Ed Sullivan Show 1958-1969; Holiday Lodge 1961; Red Skelton Show 1961; Wayne and Shuster in London 1962; Flair [1962]; CBC 10th Anniversary 1962; Canadian Armed Forces Christmas Show 1963; Wayne and Shuster Take an Affectionate Look at...1964-1966; Wayne and Shuster Show (BBC) 1965; Don't You Know There's a War On 1966; Wayne and Shuster Xmas Radio Show 1962; CBC 30th Anniversary [1982].

Included as well is television production and research material relating to the shows Friends, Romans, Countrymen 1960; Wayne and Shuster 1980-1982; and to CBC retrospectives of Wayne and Shuster programmes, including The Wayne and Shuster Years 1990; and Wayne and Shuster: the Early Years [1994]. Included are Shuster's notes and research, as well as copies of set designs for Wayne and Shuster skits.

Material is arranged chronologically in four groupings: bound radio scripts; bound television scripts; loose radio and television scripts (while most of the material comprises scripts or fragments of scripts, some files only contain lists of programme topics; miscellaneous unidentified, undated material is filed at the beginning of the loose scripts); and production and research material.
