Series consists of a selection of pre-1986 commercial, educational, government and miscellaneous architectural projects done by Murray & Murray. Commercial projects include the Kanata Town Centre, Merivale Mall, Place d'Orleans shopping centres and the Mitel office tower. Each of these projects was multi-phased. Some of these ventures include files on retail tenants. For educational institutions there are extensive files on the Natural Resources College in Malawi, southern Africa and the extension of the Fredericton Campus of the University of New Brunswick in the mid 1970s. Local projects include two buildings for the University of Ottawa, the Carleton Roman Catholic School Board and Nepean High School additions.

For the federal government, Murray & Murray worked on Canada House in London, CFB Gagetown in New Brunswick, RCMP Headquarters and the Supreme Court. The Japanese Embassy and the new Rideau Club represent miscellaneous projects. For urban planning, there are files on Lowertown Ottawa and the Rideau Centre. Most projects include specifications, correspondence with clients, consultants, contractors and regulatory agencies as well as progress and financial reports and sample change orders for large projects.
