Series consists of files on the Canadian Arts Council 1950-1952, largely relating to arts festivals and the Helsinki Olympics and including minutes, a brief, notes and correspondence including letters from Bill Newcombe, Herman Voaden, Arthur Child, Alison Palmer; files on the Federation of Canadian Artists 1942-1949, including briefs, reports and correspondence including letters from H.G. Kettle, Dorothy Macpherson, Fred Taylor, Lawren Harris and Alison Palmer; files on McGill University 1933-1940, 1988, largely relating to Mayerovitch's studies and employment and including correspondence from Ramsay Traquair, Philip Turner, Percy Nobbs, W.S. Maxwell; files on the National Film Board 1941-1944, including financial records, memoranda and correspondence largely relating to its war poster programme and including letters from Patrick Anderson, Ross McLean, Fred Taylor, Ralph Foster.
