Series consists of case files subjected to alpha-numerical identification, but not in strict alphabetical sequence by client, and further listed under title of preferred clients, whose business was handled by the firm on retainer, e.g., Bank of Nova Scotia, Biscuits Montmagny, National City Bank of New York, Price Brothers & Co. Ltd., Prudential Insurance Company of America, Royal Bank of Canada, Sun Oil Company, Canadian Pacific Railway, etc. Some cases are interfiled, ex. C.N.R. and Grand Trunk Railway.

Several stray files are included in volume 1028: CPR Chateau Frontenac, 1940-1942 and Lindsay vs Battlefield Commission, 1934-1936, etc.

There is also a book of plans of the power station at St. Raphael in the case of Price Brothers vs. Corp. Énergie de Montmagny.
