Series consists of film outlines, tenders, scripts, manuscript notes, interview transcripts, shot lists and other production lists, correspondence, contracts, and research materials generated during the production of films, proposed as well as produced, other than those listed in the filmography (containers 11-13, 29). Included is research on proposed films for the Voice of Women (Regina) and the National Farmers Union.

Series also consists of additional material, received from Evelyn Cherry in 1987, and added to the series. Included are files on "Conservation Officer", "Pioneer Party", "Neighbours of Wood and Plain" and "Saskatchewan Waterways" (container 31).

Series also consists of additional material, received from Bill and Laverne Cherry in 1997 (containers 39-40). Included is documentation on films Evelyn Cherry worked on in England during the 1930s, including the shot by shot script for "London on Parade" and the script for "English Village", as well as an expense book. Also included is correspondence relating to a series of films made about the Canadian north with filmmaker Jenny (Brown) Gilbertson, who spent extended periods of time in Coral Harbour. There are also various scripts for the film "Power Farming".
