Series consists of manuscripts of Patrick Baird's autobiography of his life up to 1962. A manuscript by his daughter Handa Bray describes the return of the Baird Family to Scotland and a trip to Scandinavia in 1954. There are several files on the family summer home at Patley, Quebec of his wife Geneva Jackson Baird including a survey, protests against the creusage (deepening of the channel) of the river Port Jolie. There are some journal extracts of Henry A.C. Jackson 1931 to 1944 concerning Patley as well as some notes from the diary for 1844 of Henry F.J. Jackson the founder of the family in Canada. Some genealogical notes on the Jackson Family and references to the artist Krieghof are included in this series. The genealogy notes that the Group of Seven artist A.Y. Jackson was the uncle of Mrs. Baird and the artist Henry A.C. Jackson was her father.
