Series consists of records concerning television dramas and television movies directed by Allan King. These include the CBC productions A Bird in the House (1974), Baptizing (1975), Six Years War (1975), Red Emma (1976), The Last Season (186), Ready for Slaughter (1984), as well as the Global Production of Tucker and the Horse Thief (1984), and Sullivan Film's The Long Journey of Lukas B. (1992). The dramas are represented by files containing correspondence, working scripts, and production books. The series also contains information regarding King's role as executive producer for the 1975-76 season of CBC's "Performance" series, including correspondence and scripts by Carol Bolt, Bryan Barney, Timothy Findley, William Lane, David Fennario, Don Bailey, Norman Snider, Dick Brenner, David Cronenberg, George Walker, Bill Gough, Michael Nimchuk, and Tom Reid.
