Series consists of a scrapbook of obituary notices and tributes in newspapers across Canada to Blair Fraser following his drowning in 1968. It also includes five files of letters of condolence, one file of cards sent with flowers, and one file of professional condolence letters. Letters came from journalists, authors, politicians, fellow canoeists, and friends. They illustrate the high regard that many people had for Fraser. There were also some professional and canoeing tributes to Fraser. There is one file which contains information on Fraser's financial situation at the time of his death, as well as a file containing estate papers. Letters were received by Mrs. Fraser, praising her husband as late as 1981.
