Activities of St. Michael's Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church, Montreal, Que., its congregation and, in one instance, probably the Finnish Immigrant Home. Individuals in the photos include: Pastor J. Yrttimaa, Pastor F. Pennanen (?), Pastor A. Conrad, and Consul-General for Finland A. Rauanheimo. Also found in the collection are photos relating to parishioners Eva Hylkinen and Aino Ukkonen in Canada and Finland. There is little caption information or other identification available for many of the photographs..
The photographs from Eva Hylkinen and Aino Ukkonen appear to have been left with the church, and came with the church's records..
Most of the photographs in this accession are snapshots; those in the albums are concerned almost exclusively with family events, vacations, pets, etc. The majority of the photographs appears to have been made in Canada..
