Series consists of general and personal correspondence files as well as files relating to the various interests and activities of Freda Paltiel. Subjects include: domestic violence, Canada Council Grants, Canadian Friends of Hebrew University, The Canadian Mental Health Association, McGill University, NATO Experts Symposium on Women, World of Work, Queen's University, Senate Committee on Aging, United Nation's Women's Organizations in Israel. Also included in this series are drafts of speeches and articles written by Freda and others , other than those related to the Status of Women.

The series includes subject files on Hebrew niversity, Jerusalem Women's Health course; and Ben-Gurion University of the Ngev's Center for Women's Health Studies. Also included are letters from family and friends; personal medical and financial information, including the Freda Paltiel Endowment for Women Health and Development, Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University (1993); biographical information and publication lists; In Memorium guest book; information on the recipients of the Freda Paltiel Award, Queen's University (1994, 1998 and 2002); various certificates presented to Paltiel (1995-2002); and minutes of the Ottawa Heart Institute Alumni (1994-1995).
