Series consists of correspondence, notes, reports and scrapbook which provide details regarding the Medical Expedition to Easter Island in 1964 and 1965, the participation of the crew of HMCS CAPE SCOTT in that expedition and the development of the Island after the influx of outsiders. Law's letters to his wife highlight the goodwill cruise to South American ports made by the CAPE SCOTT while the medical team completed its work on Easter Island. Also included are numerous photographs of the members of the expedition, the Island and the inhabitants of the Island. The scrapbook was organized into its component parts: correspondence, newspaper clippings, souvenirs, memorabilia and photographs.
