Series consists of an extensive series of general correspondence from agents, editors, publishers, translators, literary associations, critics, journalists, film projects, fans, scholars, students, schoolchildren, and others. Included are files relating to Callaghan's Royal Bank Award and letters of sympathy on the death of his wife, Loretto. There is also some financial correspondence.
