When her girl friend persuades her to borrow a gown from Mr. Katz for the theater, she is seen by her employer there and loses her job. Morgan Grant, her friend's sweetheart, then gets her a position with a modiste. When a famous French model is scheduled to appear in a fashion show and fails to appear, Jane is forced to substitute for her and to cover her ignorance of French by responding "non" to all questions.
