Series consists of academic degrees, scrapbooks containing postcards and reproductions of art, correspondence, lecture notes and course outlines, degrees and certificates, essays, theses, notebooks, and seminar papers. The Art Scrapbook files contain reproductions of art from various countries and styles, for example, French, Italian, British, American, Spanish, gothic renaissance, and impressionist. Lecture notes and course outlines for the art courses which Dr. Hubbard taught cover American, medieval, oriental, renaissance, and seventeenth and eighteenth century art. Theses, essays, and papers, written by Dr. Hubbard while he was a student, have as their topics: da Vinci, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Villard de Honnecourt, French Canadian painting and sculpture. A Correspondence file includes offers of scholarships and details of Dr. Hubbard's studies in Paris and Belgium. It also includes correspondence related to Dr. Hubbard's search for employment.
