The series comprises typescripts of the almanac diaries, Books 1-10, made by the donor, Mary Beaton of Ottawa. Archie A. McMillan's notes for 1882 in Book 9 are not included, and Kate McMillian's notes in Book 8 have been alternated year by year for the years 1884-1887 with those of her brother Archive A. McMillan in Book 9. Correlations of the typescripts with the originals are available in the shelf lists. (File 3).
