The partsize file contains data of four distinct types, each with its own type of data record and its own type of input card. The four types represent particle size analysis of a)depth integrating measurements or DI, b)point integrating measurements or PI, c)bedload measurements or BL and d) bed material measurements or BM. Each of the four records contain the anaylsis of a measurement (consisting of one or more samples) taken at a sediment station at a particular day and time. Each PI record, on the other hand, contains the anaylsis of the sample taken at one depth of a vertical within the entire PI measurement for a particular station, day and time.
