TThe Noon Weather Data file is one of five data files (G0000388-G0000392) containing weather, fuel moisture and test fire behaviour measurements for 11 field stations across Canada. The measurements were taken by forest researchers between 1931 and 1961. This particular file was created from the Revised Weather Data file and contains the same weather measurements for those hours of the day immediately preceding and following the noon hour. This file is particularly important since most fire danger indices use noon weather observations.
