While migrating the files for G0000115 as part of the 2012-2015 migration project it was determined that there were 40 extra records contained in files 1 to 5, 13 and 15 for this accession. Eighteen (18) extra records appeared in file numbers 10 and 12. These duplicate records were deleted using a sort and remove duplicate records command in unix. The migrated files now match the number of records that were identified in the original documentation. These extra records have not been deleted from the original file series and can be used if the need arises.
It is assumed these records were placed in the files as part of the original 9-track tape migration exercise that was undertaken in 1986. It is assumed the records were placed in the file because someone used a fill block parameter in the original Job Control Language (JCL) that was used to copy the material from one tape to another.

Migrated to new preservation media in 2013.
