Sub-series consists of the entrybooks entitled "Evidence" in which the commissioners recorded each claimant's schedule of losses and memorial of claim, plus supporting evidence of witness. Numbered as volumes 1-56, the entrybooks organize the claims by the colony in which the losses occurred, then chronologically by date of the hearings Each volume contains an index to the claims in it. Microfilm of the original records is available as reels B-1155 to B-1168.

Textual records (Electronic) FA 250 part 1 provides a shelf list correlating volume titles with the reel numbers for the microfilm of the originals and of the transcriptions. FA 250 part 2 provides a nominal index to the claims. MSS0250 (90: Open)
