Sub-series consists of general files of clippings, correspondence, interviews, memoranda, notes, reports, photographs, speeches on a wide range of subjects including De Gaulle's visit to Canada in 1960; Prime Minister Diefenbaker's visit to Washington; the Commonwealth Ministers' Conference; meetings in London, Washington and the Bahamas; UN Affairs, NATO, Canada/U.S. relations, the Middle East, South Africa, and the Cuban Missile Crisis. There are also files on Canadian diplomats and leaders, namely, Paul Martin Jr., Paul Martin Sr., Lester Pearson, John Starnes, Pierre Trudeau and John Watkins. There is correspondence with Geoffrey S. Murray and George Ignatieff. Series also includes Robinson's External Affairs personnel file. Arranged alphabetically.
