Series consists of letters from Edward Lambart's sister, the Canadian filmmaker Evelyn Lambart, n.d., 1938-1943, written while she was studying at the Ontario College of Art and beginning work at the National Film Board; miscellaneous letters including letters from his father, Fred Lambart; memorabilia including birth certificate, certificate from the Royal Military College of Canada, school records, and the Scripture Union (Canadian Division) pamphlets.

Additional material consists of letters from family members, memorabilia, diaries, and two draft narrative histories concerning the First World War, probably collected by Edward while he was attending the Royal Military College.

Lambart, Edward Howard Wallbridge, 1917-1943 : The fourth child of Howard Frederick John Lambart and Helen Marianne Wallbridge, Edward Howard Wallbridge Lambart was a graduate of the Royal Military College and an officer with the Royal Canadian Artillery. He was killed in action late in 1943 fighting in Italy during the Second World War.
