With the exception of a few files on visitors, the series consists of files on immigrants who used the services of Baptist World Alliance Immigration and of the North American Baptist Immigration and Colonization Society to come to Canada. The Finding Aid, in addition to family name, gives the name of the ship or airline on which the immigrant arrived and its port and date of arrival. Documents, including immigrant application forms, travel documents and correspondence, provide information on such subjects as travel arrangements by immigrants, loan repayments and adjustment to Canadian life by the new arrivals.
