Series includes records of the Toronto Regional Council records (20 cm) consisting of general correspondence, membership directories, fundraising reports and a variety of community programmes, of note, is the Jerusalem pavilion of the Metro International Caravan. Other records originate from the Southern Ontario, Eastern Regional and Quebec Regional councils. B'nai Brith Canada District Office files encompass the Montreal and Mid West offices and detail the merging of the prairie province lodges (members of the American based D.G.L. No. 6) with District No. 22 (these files include correspondence of the North West and Central Canadian Councils). B'nai Brith lodges frequently work through specialized committees and regional councils to take on humanitarian projects of national and international importance.

Archival material revealing some specialized work of regional councils can be found in other subseries of the collection. For example, the Quebec Regional Council participated with B'nai Brith's Community Volunteer Service (C.V.S.) in the 1979-1980 sponsorship of Vietnamese Boat People.
