Series consists of transcripts of selected Sifton letters (vols. 291-292) and notes in diary form (vol. 293), used by J.W. Dafoe in the preparation of Clifford Sifton In Relation To His Times (Toronto, 1931). Included are transcripts from a 1955 CBC television programme dealing with Sifton's immigration policy (vol. 294) and financial notes from the Winnipeg Free Press (vol. 312). Arranged by volume number. The finding aid consists of a descriptive file list.
