Series includes material relating to artists Mary Wrinch Reid and her husband George A. Reid. Included are two letters to Murray from Mary Wrinch Reid, as well as material she gave Murray from her own papers, including a postcard from the sculptor Florence Wyle and her own notes on block printing and documentation on lettering, evidently relating to teaching.

Series also contains material including a notebook dating from 1929 to 1936 in which Mary Wrinch Reid and George Reid kept a record of their exhibited works. This documents paintings the two artists sent to exhibitions organized by the National Gallery, Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, Canadian Society of Graphic Art, Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour, Ontario Society of Artists, etc., as well as to various travelling exhibitions, and is written in both the hand of Mary Wrinch Reid and what is evidently George Reid's hand.
