Series consists of general training program files containing correspondence, memoranda, questionnaires and course evaluations relating to the training program and an extensive training survey conducted in 1973, as well as correspondence, agendas and minutes pertaining to the training Committee, 1947-1978, volumes 21-29, and the development of individual courses, volumes 68-69.

The series also includes seminar and workshop files consisting of correspondence, seminar schedules, research material and notes as well as R.O. Harrison's training manual Technical Requirements of a Small Museum, A. Key's Architectural Bibliography, and various technical papers, 1934, 1950-1978, volumes 29-32, 58. Arranged chronologically by name of seminar, workshop or publication. Oversized documents relating to the Museum Design seminar can be found in volume 58. Student files including correspondence, academic reports and student assignments, 1961-1975, volumes 32-39, 58. Arranged alphabetically by students' names. Oversize documents are in volume 58.
