The series consists of files created or collected by Marion E. Grant, President of the Canadian Federation of University Women (1949-1953). It includes correspondence files from CFUW Presidents Ursille N. Macdonnell (1946), Ruth B. Crummy (1946-1949) and Marion E. Grant (1940-41, 1947-52) concerning tours, membership, conferences and other activities. Other files contain correspondence related to the CFUW triennial meetings in Vancouver (1949) and Ottawa (1952); the CFUW education committee (1946-1949); correspondence and memoranda about university women's clubs and academic appointments; correspondence with Dr. Hilda Neatby (1946-1949); and miscellaneous files, pamphlets and newspaper clippings.
