This series of CAB 23 consists of minutes of meetings, shorthand notes, and Prime Ministers' notes of meetings. It is furnished with subject indexes and a table of contents. The formation of the Imperial War Cabinet in 1917 permitted ministers from the Dominions to meet officially with their British counterparts to discuss the conduct of naval and military operations and some of the broader issues of imperial policy connected with the war. (Volumes 40-44). This material is found on microfilm reel B-3852.
