For unknown reasons, a variety of correspondence and other documents from 1784 to 1867 was accumulated in the Provincial Secretary's office without being entered in the numbered registry system. The bulk of the documents are reports, accounts and letters from the Receiver General and Inspector General, closely linked to the audit records in RG 5, B 34 and RG 1, E 15B; they may be transferred to those series if future investigation demonstrates such action to be appropriate.
