Sub-series consists of thematically arranged, this series contains a miscellany of speeches, articles and press releases. It includes Douglas' throne and budget speeches as Premier of Saskatchewan, assorted radio broadcasts and fireside chats from the same period, and speeches, press releases and articles covering his political career in the N.D.P., as leader, and as member of federal caucus. The final volume contains alphabetically arranged photocopies of title pages of publications transferred to the National Archives Library.

Sub-series also contains the following 10 sub-series subdivisions: Premier's Throne and Budget Speeches, 1945-1961, (volume 139); Radio Broadcasts, 1943-1961, (volumes 139 to 142); Fireside Chats, 1949-1950, (volumes 142 and 143); Miscellaneous Material for Speeches, 1949-1961, (volumes 143 and 144), these files also contain speech drafts and texts; Speeches, 1960-1979, (volumes 145 to 152); Articles, 1963-1979, (volume 152); Speeches by others, 1963-1979, (volumes 152 to 154), arranged alphabetically by author and then chronologically; "On Parliament Hill", 1962-1969, (volume 154); Press Releases, 1962-1969, (volumes 154 to 156); and Printed Items, 1937-1979, (volume 157), alphabetically arranged photocopies of the title pages of printed items transferred to the National Archives Library.
