Series consists of manuscripts for Creighton's articles, speeches and books such as the Commercial Empire of the St. Lawrence, Dominion of the North, Sir John A. Macdonald: the young politician and Sir John A. Macdonald: the old chieftain, Canada's First Century and The Forked Road: Canada 1939-1957 and Takeover, manuscripts are book reviews, photocopies and notes, and a large series of note cards dated 1820 to 1895 which were used to arranged source material for his books.

A two page chart on the Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism, 1966, is available in horizontal storage.
