Series consists of lecture notes and administration files concerning the life sciences program which Prof. Boyd established at Contestoga Community College, in 1968-1976, which was later adopted at Seneca College in Toronto; course plans, budgets, minutes of meetings concerning the Human Anatomy course and Guleph University administrative memoranda and some lecture notes.

The series also includes extensive files related to Dr. H.B. Cotnam as General Inspector of Anatomy for Ontario who was an acquaintance of Dr. Boyd. Included is correspondence and memoranda concerning the problems of dissecting human cadavers in a veterinary college. Some complaints were received by Dr. Cotnam from relatives of donors as to the handling of deceased relatives at most medical schools in Ontario. This material may be of interest to legal, medical, social and religious researchers.
