Series consists of extensive quantities of correspondence and memoranda concerning Dr. Boyd's many grievances and yearly submission to the Committee on Tenure and Promotion; the inquiries to study his case such as the Epstein Report, 1976; minutes of the Guelph Faculty Association Grievance Committee from which C.A.U.T. took over the case in 1975 and Professor John Whytes Review of the Boyd case in 1978; numerous subject files on such topics as graduate students, Dr. Cotnam, the Chief Coroner of Ontario as to whether the Ontario Veterinary College was following the law in the dissection of human cadavers, Dr. Downie, Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Sciences concerning administration and disputes with Dr. Boyd.

There are also legal papers including Professor Boyd's correspondence with his lawyer Chris Paliare; submissions for CAUT and Boyd; factums for the cases,; lists of legal precedents on which the case was based (file title "Cases to be Relied on") and court records, volume 17; personal papers including Professor Boyd's curriculum vitae, references and student evaluations of his teaching, volume 18.
